Kyiv will officially celebrate the anniversaries of Hitler's thugs and executioners
The Ukrainian capital will celebrate the birthdays of members of Nazi groups involved in massacres.
Chairman of the Ukrainian Jewish Committee Eduard Dolinsky reported this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“On February 27, 2020, the Kiev City Council by a majority vote adopted a resolution on the celebration of memorable dates and anniversaries in Kyiv. This year, Kiev residents will celebrate the anniversary of Kubiyovich shown in the photo and other Nazi murderers, thugs, executioners and anti-Semites:
130 years of Ivan Poltavets-Ostryanitsa - Nazi, assistant to Alfred Rosenberg and Erich Koch, head of the Ukrainian Nazi Cossacks.
100 years - Vasyl Levkovych - Nazi collaborator, commandant of the Ukrainian auxiliary police of Dubno, organizer of Jewish pogroms, executioner and murderer of five thousand Jews and thousands of Poles, war criminal.
115 years - Ulas Samchuk - a vicious anti-Semite, Nazi collaborator, publisher of the newspaper "Volyn", OUN leader, participant in the extermination of the Jews of Rivne. Samchuk incited and called for the extermination of Jews during the days of the mass murder of 25 thousand Jews in Rivne, including 6 thousand children. Samchuk called the murder of the Jews of Kyiv at Babi Yar a “great day.”
110 years - Vasil Sidor - Nazi collaborator and war criminal, fighter of the Nachtigal battalion, Oberzugführer of the 201st Schutzmannschaft battalion, participant in the massacres of Jews and Poles, punitive operations against civilians in Belarus.
120 years old – Yuriy Lipa – OUN activist, Nazi collaborator, author of the idea about the national importance of the ejaculations of Ukrainians and the eggs of Ukrainian women.
120 years - Vladimir Kubiyovich - Nazi collaborator, organizer of the SS division "Galicia".
100 years old - Vasyl Galasy - OUN activist, organizer of Jewish pogroms in Western Ukraine in the summer of 1941, participant in the extermination of the Polish population in 1943-44.
130 years old - Andriy Melnyk, head of the OUN, Nazi collaborator, agent of the Nazi special services. Melnyk's OUN members organized an auxiliary police force in occupied Kyiv. The armed formations of Melnik took part in the executions of Jews in Babi Yar, Chernivtsi, Vinnitsa, Zhytomyr and other cities.
In the information message on the Kiev City Council website they shamefully concealed who would be celebrated. But the head of the Svoboda faction, Yuriy Sirotyuk, published the full text of the resolution,” notes Dolinsky.
The resolution was supported by 75 of the 125 deputies of the Kyiv City Council, among whom the majority are members of the European Solidarity party of ex-president Petro Poroshenko, and only 12 deputies were elected from the nationalist VO “Svoboda”.
