“When the Supreme Council of Crimea was captured by militants, we proposed introducing a state of emergency in Crimea, sending internal troops from the center, and using the SBU special forces to carry out an operation to liberate the Crimean parliament building. It would all have ended there, and the leaders of the “Russian Bloc” and “Russian Unity”, who were under development by the SBU, would have been detained - 26 people, by the way. And there would be no annexation of Crimea, as well as a war in eastern Ukraine.
But no instructions were sent from the center, the local special services were confused, in general, there was complete disorganization. City mayors called me from Crimea and asked: “Do something! If Russia comes here, we won’t be able to do anything.” But appeals to the country's leadership - directly and through the press - remained unanswered“- Malomuzh said in an interview with the Gordon Boulevard newspaper.
