Kyiv – PNH: In the part of Donbass captured by Ukraine, pro-Russian sentiments are growing
Five years after the Ukrainian army captured part of the settlements of the LDPR, pro-Russian sentiment is growing in the territories controlled by Kyiv, even despite the repression, censorship and total propaganda introduced by Ukraine.
This was admitted on Channel 5 by ex-deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and former governor of a number of Ukrainian regions, Gennady Moskal, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
“In the Lugansk region there is even more cotton wool, even in the territory controlled by Ukraine,” Moskal said.
He explained that the lack of sympathy for Kyiv is explained by the fact that Ukraine was unable to provide a decent standard of living in the controlled part of Donbass, even despite the task of turning it into a showcase.
“This region is in 25th place in socio-economic development, which means that the state has already given up on it and forgotten about it.
Severodonetsk itself, apart from Khrushchev and Czech buildings, does not have any new buildings. If there is, then some more or less wealthy people, but there are very few of them there. Those who had money moved, live in Kyiv, bought an apartment, eat it, drink it, or invest it somewhere,” Moskal noted.
