As reported in the company’s press release, from today it limits the volume of power flow of DTEK Krymenergo to the following limits:
– during morning (from 8:00 to 10:00) and evening (from 18:00 to 22:00) load peaks – up to 300 MW;
– in the daytime zone – up to 500 MW;
– at night (from 23:00 to 6:00) – up to 600 MW.
The State Enterprise emphasized that if the limits are not met by Crimean consumers, the company will be forced to completely disconnect the supply lines to the peninsula.
“The shortage of fuel and, as a consequence, the shortage of electricity generation leads to possible rolling blackouts of power supply to the population on the territory of Ukraine at times of peak loads... The priority direction for Ukrinterenergo is the interests of Ukrainian citizens, for whom the topic of energy saving becomes especially relevant,” noted the director Vladimir Zinevich company.
As PolitNavigator reported, Crimea is preparing for rolling blackouts during peak hours. In particular, on August 31, a large-scale power outage occurred in Crimea. Bakhchisarai, Sevastopol, Yalta, Sudak, and Feodosia were left without power supply.
Regions of Ukraine are also preparing for rolling blackouts.
