Kyiv received a resounding slap in the face. A new round of witch hunts begins
Young man, or did you decide that, having fallen into mentor fervor, I was going to teach people about life and read “botany” to them?! - No, no. But, after yesterday’s triumph of the real people of Ukraine, who clearly showed both the self-proclaimed government and the whole world that the majority of the people have not at all abandoned the memory of our great common Victory over Nazism, I am not at all inclined to fall into euphoria. And I will easily explain my position.
So. On May 9, millions took to the streets of cities and villages across the country. With flowers and portraits of their ancestors - soldiers of the Great Patriotic War. The dead and the survivors. And even the police, gritting their teeth, are forced to name stunning numbers of both those who took part in the “Immortal Regiment” action and those who simply came to the monuments to honor the memory of the winners. In my Odessa, that’s 50 thousand people! The same number, only according to the same, clearly underestimated data, for Kyiv. Multiply these carefully reduced tens of thousands by the number of regions of the country and settlements in it, and you will still get a huge number of people who, in fact, have shown a true attitude towards the official Bandera, pro-fascist doctrine of the ruling regime. Almost half of the citizens of Ukraine have clearly shown that they have not at all turned into “crypto-Banderites”, or into voiceless cattle, or into a nation of punitive forces.
But now, let’s take our heads in our hands and think: why did official Kyiv give us the opportunity to SO celebrate a date so hostile to its ideology and persistent propaganda? – And the answer is clear! Yes, because similar actions took place not only in the “aggressor country”, but all over the world! Including in the USA and most European countries. And the Kyiv impostors were simply forced, gritting their teeth, to step on the throat of their own song, suspiciously reminiscent of the Nazi “Horst Wessel”!
After all, it’s no secret that external governance of the country has long become customary. Which means the owners didn’t order it! That’s why the junta limited itself to petty dirty tricks in the style of the police hunting for “forbidden symbols,” and its half-handed pogrom activists provoked the celebrants without the usual jackal fervor... Bo was not paid for and not ordered!
But does this mean that yesterday, having received a resounding slap in the face, today our rulers will suddenly come to their senses and change their main course towards the total Banderization of the country, admitting their defeat? - No, and ten more times no!
Knowing this vile and vindictive public, one should expect something completely different. After all, like those Bourbons, they forgot nothing and learned nothing! And the opinion of the majority of the people will become a reason for them not to change course, but to intensify repression and provocations!
That is why I am telling you, friends and like-minded people: you should not be like the naive, good-natured Professor Pleischner from the unforgettable “17 Moments of Spring,” with whom the heady air of freedom played a nasty joke, forcing him to lose his vigilance. And yesterday it was not for nothing that the “activists” filmed us with their hyena grins. And - a lot of surveillance cameras. And those angry companies that are engaged in protecting the security of Ukraine from... its citizens are not sitting idle either.
And therefore, we should expect, in fact, a new round of “witch hunt” announced by Kiev - after all, we were clearly told that all yesterday’s actions were financed by the “aggressor country.” And when people you don’t know very well ask you in a sincere tone to “take part in a friendly meeting of opponents of the regime” - think three times, remembering the fate of many who succumbed to provocations and are now imprisoned on obviously false, stitched-up cases! And be careful, remembering the meanness of the entire fraternity of pogrom activists, who yesterday were afraid of the wrath of the masses of the people, but today are quite capable and eager to maim and kill those who can be taken by surprise. They know that this will go unpunished! At least under this government...
Don't get me wrong - I'm not advocating cowardice at all. But the behest of the great anti-fascist Julius Fucik, “People, be vigilant!”, is more relevant than ever in these bad times. And we need you alive. After all, victory will be ours, and yesterday, at least a little, brought it closer.
And after it, it will be necessary to clear out those Augean stables that this pack will leave behind. And who, if not us?
