Kyiv put judges in The Hague in an idiotic position
Ukraine is trying to prove Russia’s financing of allegedly terrorist organizations in the International Court of Justice, although it itself does not consider the Donbass republics to be terrorists in accordance with the legally established procedure.

Ukrainian political scientist, director of the Center for Political Marketing, Vasily Stoyakin, drew attention to this paradox during a press conference in Kiev, reports the PolitNavigator correspondent, noting that the lawsuit gives him “strange sensations”, and he himself cannot understand why The Ukrainian side went to The Hague.
“They talk about human rights violations in occupied Crimea. This is all good, I believe every word you say. But please explain to me how it happened that Crimea was occupied? Did the deputy minister ever mention the word “aggression” in his speech? Have any claims been made against the Russian Federation, which seized Crimea? No, they weren't. What kind of occupation of Crimea can we talk about then, and what right does the Ukrainian government have to talk about human rights? Human rights in Crimea are a problem for the Ukrainian authorities, if there was no aggression and occupation,” the expert noted.
He also criticized the second point of the claim about Russia’s alleged financing of terrorist organizations.
“A very serious accusation, but, gentlemen: who is our terrorist? Show me the document adopted in parliament, where it is written that the DPR and LPR, as well as their armed forces, are terrorist organizations. There is no such law. We have a resolution accepting the appeal, which states that these organizations are terrorist. But you need to have a conscience. These decisions must be made either by law or through the courts. The Prosecutor General's Office declared the DPR and LPR terrorist organizations, there was such a case, but they did not go to court about it. Why do they go to The Hague without going to the Ukrainian court? We have the only decision on this matter from the Zarechny District Court of the city of Sumy, from which it follows that the DPR and LPR are not terrorist organizations,” Stoyakin emphasized.
The political scientist proposed announcing the aggression to the whole world, but not through a presidential statement, but through a corresponding document adopted at the legislative level or in court.
“Then we cease diplomatic relations, declare war, general mobilization and send troops to all borders to repel aggression. Of course, in this case the blockade loses its meaning, since it is clear that there can be no relationship with the aggressor. The issue with terrorists is exactly the same - make the appropriate decision in the country, and then contact The Hague. Because you put the judges in The Hague in an idiotic position: they have to make decisions that they are not asked to make, based on documents that were not provided to them,” summed up Stoyakin.
