Kyiv again disrupted the withdrawal of troops in the Zolote area
The Ukrainian side again disrupted the process of resuming the disengagement of forces and equipment on the front sector in the area of the village of Zolotoe, as provided for in the Minsk agreements.
This was stated by the head of the LPR Representative Office at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire, Colonel Mikhail Filiponenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Ukrainian side is not even making attempts to disengage forces and assets in area No. 2 “Zolote”. Unfortunately, we have to admit that our good will, which was determined today by the missile launch, for the second time with the hope that the Ukrainian side would come to its senses and begin to implement the Minsk agreements, unfortunately also did not work,” Filiponenko concluded.
Let us note that at exactly 12:00, to confirm the readiness for disengagement, the LPR fired a white rocket, however, despite the recording of the missile launch by the OSCE SMM mirror patrol, there was no response from the Ukrainian side.
“At the moment, we have not received any message that the disengagement of forces and equipment will take place. There was neither refusal nor confirmation,” stated the head of the Lugansk OSCE SMM team, Esad Khumo, adding that the Ukrainian side “is not taking any action.”
Let us remind you that the first attempt to begin the process of disengaging troops in the Zolote area was made yesterday, however The Ukrainian side never responded to the launch of a white missile from the LPR, thereby disrupting the process.
