Employees of the Konstantinovsky city police department solved the murder of a resident of Dzerzhinsk, 1963, whose body was discovered on April 29 of this year near the Svyataya Matrona mine with a through gunshot wound to the torso.
During operational-search activities, police officers established the involvement of a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a resident of the Kirovograd region, in the murder. On May 12, the suspect was detained, and the court of the city of Konstantinovka chose a preventive measure for him - arrest.
On this fact, criminal proceedings were initiated under Part 1 of Article 115 “Intentional Murder” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for a term of 7 to 15 years. The investigation is ongoing.
Let us remind you that this is not the first case of killings of civilians in Donbass by Ukrainian soldiers.
On May 8, in the village of Talakovka near Mariupol, the corpse of a man, born in 1977, was discovered with signs of violent death. Investigators established that three military personnel stationed in a nearby village were involved in this fact.
Criminal proceedings were opened under Part 2 of Article 121 “Intentional grievous bodily harm” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for up to 10 years of imprisonment. The defendants were chosen as a preventive measure in the form of detention.
