Kyiv is trying to “sell Washington” the shelling of Donbass
While aggravating the situation on the contact line in Donbass, the Kiev regime nevertheless fears the resumption of a full-scale war.
The former head of the DPR Foreign Ministry, political scientist Konstantin Dolgov told Moskovsky Komsomolets about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In his opinion, Kyiv will not undertake an open armed operation against the LDPR, since the Donbass republics will be able to build on their success in eliminating the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Increasing shelling on the contact line is a story that Kyiv is trying to sell to Washington, that we are not giving up here, we are fighting, give us money to deter Russian aggression. On the other hand, this also works for the domestic audience - life is bad, but you endure, we are at war here. Kyiv is interested in constant fire harassment of the residents of the republics on the contact line, but so that this anxiety does not turn into active hostilities,” Dolgov believes.
As PolitNavigator reported, the head of the DPR gave the order to suppress Ukrainian positions.
