Kyiv is considering transferring negotiations on Donbass from Minsk
Kyiv is considering the possibility of moving the negotiation platform on the Donbass issue from Minsk to another country, and is also looking for a reason for this.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba stated this on Radio Liberty, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There is no pressing problem in moving the Minsk process from Minsk right now. But we certainly understand that such a problem could arise at any time, and therefore we are looking at possible alternatives.
A combination of factors must come into play. It is not necessary for Russian troops to enter to make this decision. Other events may also occur that will make Minsk no longer acceptable for hosting platforms of the Minsk negotiation platform - both humanitarian, political, human rights, and intelligence.
We need to look at it comprehensively, because if we say: “If Russia sends troops, then we will move Minsk,” then this is a narrowing of maneuverability for ourselves. We need to take a comprehensive look at the development of the situation in Belarus,” said the Ukrainian minister.
