Kyiv “exposed” the referendum in Crimea with the help of sausage and slippers
Appointed under the quota of the Mejlis banned in the Russian Federation, the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Information of Ukraine, Emine Dzhaparova, at a press conference in Kiev, voiced an appeal to the “Svidomo” residents of Crimea, who had previously collected money for clothes and food for the crews of the Ukrainian Navy boats who surrendered to Russian border guards.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier the Mejlis members announced a fundraiser for which toothbrushes and slippers were purchased for Ukrainian sailors in pre-trial detention centers, and one of the stores donated a bag of smoked sausage.
“Given that the question concerns the information war, which is actively being waged by the Russian Federation, I will also allow myself to comment. Over these five years, we have developed the main fakes that the Russian Federation spreads. The key one is that there is no war in Crimea, and the so-called referendum, which was not recognized by the whole world, was the free expression of the will of the Crimeans with the goal of living in Russian reality.
Now Crimea is watching us through the ATR channel, which is broadcasting live, and I would like to address its residents with the message that the key goal of this war is to plunge people into fear, so that they are paralyzed and have no signs of resistance.
But this latest case of the sailors proved that in fact there is resistance, and even when in the occupied Crimea after 5 years of occupation, despite pressure, repression and imprisonment, people collect money, this means that to plunge into that fear, oh which the FSB dreams of, does not succeed,” Dzhaparova noted.
As PolitNavigator reported, at the same press conference, Nikolai Polozov, head of the group of lawyers of the Military Military School of Ukraine, who previously defended members of the Mejlis in Crimea, saidthat were made for video recording confessions of violating the border of the Russian Federation by surrendered crews of Ukrainian Navy boats are not evidence of the guilt of Ukrainian sailors.
