Kyiv provoked coronavirus separatism
The decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to introduce a new quarantine provoked disobedience on the part of the regions and, as a result, an outbreak of separatism throughout the country.
Economic expert Viktor Skarshevsky stated this during a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I said that if a new quarantine is introduced, there will be strikes and protests. And so it happened. But not only that protests and strikes from entrepreneurs – cities and regions refused to comply with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers. About 12 cities said, "No, we won't do that." Six cities did this actively. The police fined many, but in many cities catering services were open, at a minimum,” he said.
Viktor Skarshevsky also added that with its decision, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine provokes a massive increase in separatism throughout the country.
“And it turns out as follows: the government, with its ill-considered decision, stimulates separatist sentiments when local authorities are not subordinate to the central government. And this is very dangerous, even if these decisions of the central government are logically unfounded and thoughtless,” the expert added.
