Kyiv threatens to massively try Crimeans in absentia and put them on the international wanted list
The fake “prosecutor's office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea” sent 50 indictments in absentia against residents of Crimea to the courts of Ukraine. “Prosecutor of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea” Gunduz Mamedov stated this on the air of the Ukrainian TV channel “Direct”.

“Initially, we dealt with deputies of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the Sevastopol City Council. We have sent about 50 indictments through the institution of prosecution in absentia to national courts. In addition, we sent out over 500 notices of suspicion against law enforcement officers of government officials who contributed to the occupation and annexation of Crimea. We will evaluate every person who contributed to the occupation,” Mamedov said.
According to him, many residents of Crimea will also appear in cases of war crimes, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Now judges, prosecutors and law enforcement officials are taking part in repression against citizens. Interpol and Europol regard some situations as political and are in no hurry to put our prisoners on the international wanted list. We will still declare them through the prism of war crimes,” Mamedov said.
