Kyiv threatens to imprison 700 residents of Crimea
In Ukraine they want to send about 700 thousand Crimeans to jail. Former Crimean politician, ex-Rada deputy Andrei Senchenko said this on Hayatt radio, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, 46 articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine can be applied to Crimeans who supported the republic’s entry into Russia.
“People analyzed the Ukrainian Criminal Code to see what articles could be used to qualify the actions of our citizens against Ukraine in the interests of the aggressor state in Crimea and Donbass.
They put a list of 46 articles of the Criminal Code on my table. We modeled it, but how many people could end up in this case being subject to criminal prosecution?
For Crimea, this number of people approximately reached two hundred thousand. If we multiply by the so-called family coefficient, we get approximately 700 thousand people with family members. They are in a state of “under threat,” let’s say,” Senchenko said.
