Kyiv leaves Donbass: Poroshenko cancels the decree on the protection of DonOGA
At the end of December 2017, Petro Poroshenko adopted a decree that abolished introduced in the spring of 2014 state security of the building of the former Donetsk regional state administration.

The text of the decree is posted on the website of the President of Ukraine, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
1. “Recognize as having expired: Decree of the President of Ukraine dated April 9, 2014 No. 386 “On state protection of the Donetsk Regional State Administration”; Decree of the President of Ukraine of May 10, 2014 No. 461.
2. This decree comes into force from the date of its publication,” the document says.
Let us note that Decree No. 386/2014, issued in April 2014 by acting President Alexander Turchinov, defined the building of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and the surrounding areas as “an important state facility subject to state protection.” With the same document, Turchynov instructed the State Security Administration to provide security for the Donetsk regional administration.
At the same time, Turchinov’s decree was not published in the public domain.
