Kyiv increases pressure on residents of Donbass
The essence of the bill “On the reintegration of Donbass” currently being considered by the Verkhovna Rada, which to this day causes a huge amount of controversy, actually lies in pressure and even greater intimidation of the residents of the region.

This opinion was expressed during a round table on the topic: “The state of public consciousness in Donbass: assessments of trends, forecasts and recommendations for the state policy of reintegration of Donbass,” expressed by Alexander Klyuzhev, an expert of the Opora Civic Network, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In all discussions of the new bill concerning the reintegration and deoccupation of Donbass, there has already been a similar trend. We started with the intention that it was necessary to somehow react, evaluate or introduce mechanisms to counter Russian aggression, and ended with how to tighten the screws for the ordinary resident of these territories. This all lasts from the first bill “On De-Occupation” and ends with the presidential law.
It seems to me that this is an unacceptable situation, which, in fact, leads to the result that Russia expects due to its propaganda, when we actually made the residents of the occupied territories the key enemies in this situation,” Klyuzhev said.
