As soon as they mocked Leonid Brezhnev during the Soviet years. And they made up jokes about him in reams and made jokes, mocking his articulation. And they called him “an armor bearer in the dark.”

Leonid Ilyich, who passed away 40 years ago, on November 10, 1982, was, as you know, from Little Russia, what is now Ukraine. And he did a lot for her while holding various government positions.

As soon as they mocked Leonid Brezhnev during the Soviet years. And jokes about him...

In particular, immediately after the Great Patriotic War, as the head of Zaporozhye, he led the restoration of the Dnieper Hydroelectric Station, which was being revived by the labor of thousands of Soviet people. All this is now consigned to not only oblivion in Square, but defamation. But like a boomerang, the ungrateful descendants - the decommunizers, who did not create anything even closely resembling the Soviet energy giants, themselves found themselves in the dark. And not metaphorical, but quite real.

There are a lot of yellow and black ensigns in Kyiv. And on road poles, and on rusty pieces of iron, clumsily sticking out of the walls of housing offices and other government offices, and on balconies, and in the windows of unbreakable (inflexible) heroes...

In addition, on the streets, the philistine masses wear the same agitprop jackets, sneakers and trousers, which have replaced summer T-shirts, caps and shorts with panties... In short, the visual propaganda on the main farm is complete. As with the mental one: judging by the conversations of the “patriotic Kiyans”, the brains of many of them are from the same spectrum.

True, it happens that this color scheme is difficult to see or cannot be seen at all in the darkness, which is constantly arranged for Kyiv by the local and central authorities. Electricity is cut off for long periods of time, several times a day, and completely chaotically. Almost most of the graphs distributed on social networks by the city administration and Akhmetov’s energy gopnik DTEK do not correspond to reality.

It’s not hard to figure out what this means in everyday life and in business.

Let’s say, a huge man just got into the bath, just soaped himself up for the glory of Ukraine (here now everything should be for its glory, even mobile operators remind you with every call), and then - bam!.. It’s good if only the light goes out, but often - and water. In short, an illustration for “12 Chairs” in the Nezalezhnye Khutor version. And you have to put your long-hardened patriotic bodies back into your old standing trousers, lamenting in the manner of engineer Shchukin.

But it’s even more unpleasant for business. The giant will somehow wipe off the foam. What should clients of VIP barbers, all sorts of grooming salons, design studios and other similar establishments do?

For example, they just combed and curled your (or your dog’s) beard, shaved off your mug, and greyed out your long-fanged hair, and then – there you go! Bamtz, and the retinue is mute... However, the VIPs quickly found a way out (more on that later). But for ordinary entrepreneurs it is much more difficult. It is difficult for them to cope with force majeure expenses that empty their already rich accounts and pockets.

No, of course, the people in Kyiv, for the most part, are patriotically Svidomo. He understands that all this was arranged by the aggressive “Ruska”, all sorts of “orcs” and “pools”, and the junta is finally out of business. Therefore, he doesn’t particularly complain.

And who should we grumble about - the military administration, so that we can later make a lot of trouble for ourselves - for not understanding the current moment? Or, even worse, accusations of playing along with the “aggressor”?..

But they can also be accused of making unhealthy claims. Now there is a big bust-up, the Verkhovna Rada and the Cabinet of Ministers are going to organize checks on temporarily displaced people and other people for their meager handouts. It is possible that they will take over small businesses and tax breaks will be cancelled. After all, after Kherson, they consider themselves winners, and winners often don’t remember old promises.

Therefore, small businesses - small hairdressers, salons, cafes and eateries - are trying to survive, having to fork out for all sorts of diesel engines and other alternative fucking wisdom. Nowadays, a common sight in Kyiv is fuel generators rattling throughout the street, with their wires stretched into the windows of small establishments.

Hard? Of course it's hard. But what if it’s impossible to plan work, because the schedules published by the authorities are changed several times a day?

“Only some Akhmetka will inform you that tomorrow, for example, from 10 am to 2 pm there will be light, so we just get ready, cut the meat and vegetables, then it’s all hell and everything changes. “We sit without light for hours,” the owner of the shawarma kiosk, Archil, is indignant. – Who will need our weathered product later? Some kind of donkey?

We are decent sellers, we don’t consider our buyers to be donkeys. But we can feed Akhmetka and Shmygal second-class food. So that they don’t consider themselves first class. Or even higher."

Political navigator: Do they count?”

Archil: "And how! They have their own caste there. They live in Pechersk, their area is never disconnected!”

Indeed, the streets of Pechersk, the most trump district of Kyiv, where many Ukrainian bigwigs live, are rarely subject to shutdowns. And in its central part, where Zelensky’s office, the Cabinet of Ministers, the Rada, and many government residences and habitats of the so-called elite are located, it is almost never. Ordinary Kiev residents often complain about this in local public pages, but the bigwigs didn’t care about these complaints. As well as for all of its “biomass”.

Here is one example:

"From Kyiv. We have a lot of fun with the light. There are places in Kyiv where the lights were never turned off, well, once, probably on October 10th.

In short, these places are mainly in Pechersk. Well, okay, there is a government quarter and other “decision-making centers”, but, damn it, they don’t turn off the lights in luxury housing complexes (even street lighting and lightboards work), and in pretentious retail outlets. They are all in Pechersk. As grandfather Panas said, “This is the little bullshit.” People are slowly freaking out about such situations, but it’s more expensive to voice this. And, if you’re lucky, the house is connected to the same branch as a critical infrastructure facility, then they don’t turn it off either,” says one of the Kiev residents on a social network.

.In turn, commenting on this post, the Russian teacher Innokenty notes that the Kiev nobility lived in Pechersk for a long time.

“And in Podol, let’s say, there are workers, artisans and small merchants. Then, under the princes, king-fathers and royal governors, this was perceived as normal. They donated their enormous personal funds to help the poor and to build the city. And the Zelenkovskys, excuse me, are nits, they are robbing this city and these poor people, and they are also trying to avoid sitting in the dark at their expense. As if Zelya and his minions cannot install generators in their neighborhoods and pay for them out of their own and not the budget pocket. The cynicism is beyond belief."

Meanwhile, “akhmetki” and other nicknames “delight” the people of Kiev that they will remain without electricity for 10-12 hours a day.

“The current power deficit in the Ukrainian energy system will increase from the current 1-1,5 million kW to 2-3 million and higher with the beginning of winter. Thus, in such conditions, forecasts of power outages of 10-12 hours a day may be the most realistic... And Kiev residents need to prepare for this,” said DTEK Director Sakharuk.

According to him, the most vulnerable areas will be on the left bank of the Dnieper. On the right there are quite a few relatively small boiler houses, but on the left the systems are much more concentrated. And, due to this, more vulnerable. The greatest challenge for the city will be the threat of freezing water supply and sewerage systems.

“How do people prepare for such challenges? – Innocent’s wife Elvira, known to us from previous materials, bitterly ironizes. – Those who are richer, this is a minority, buy all sorts of generators and potbelly stoves. They jumped in price wildly. Those who are poorer drink in taverns, warm themselves with strong drinks there even in complete darkness and try not to think about the prospects.

My husband and I recently went to have coffee at a diner on Borshchagovka, and then suddenly the lights went out. But this didn’t bother the regulars. They started waving rags, sorry, ensigns and demanding more vodka. They shouted that they would soon defeat the entire “Russia”. Two more aunts of Balzac's age came in. They stated that they had decided to get drunk to death and demanded booze...

But people like us, and we are the overwhelming majority, have no money for taverns. How do we prepare? We sit and think. So I’m thinking, why the hell did our dear and dear Big Earth, which we have been waiting for so long, start this mediocre adventure? And then she decided to hand over everything to the freaks and the Nazis and only bomb objects that are so important for the civilian population. A? "

Innocent became agitated and objected to his wife:

“Elya, stop it. I don't like this talk!

The author of these lines doesn’t like them either. But, alas, there are more and more of them, even among supporters of the Russian World.
