The Ukrainian side sabotaged the initiatives of the OSCE SMM to resolve the conflict in Donbass during a meeting of the working group on security issues at the negotiations in Minsk on June 13.

The DPR Representative Office in the JCCC reported this on the official website, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“The OSCE SMM consolidated all the proposals made earlier, revised and presented them in a neutral, parity form, but representatives of the Ukrainian delegation again politicized real practical steps. Unfortunately, it was not possible to make progress in adopting a document with additional measures that would make it possible to respond to violations in substance this time either. It is obvious that it is not profitable for the Ukrainian side to sign such a document,” the message says.

It is noted that representatives of the Donbass republics and the delegation from the Russian Federation fully supported the proposals of the OSCE SMM and expressed their readiness to sign a document consistent with the implementation of the points of the Package of Measures and the interests of the republics.

In addition, Kyiv continues to declare compliance with the ceasefire on its part, despite official reports from the OSCE SMM indicating violations of the regime by the Ukrainian Armed Forces and ignoring the disengagement of forces.

“Despite another fact of violation of the Framework Decision recorded by the OSCE SMM at pilot site No. 3 “Petrivske-Bogdanovka”, the Ukrainian side continues to pretend that it is not violating anything and transfer the discussion of this issue to other topics not related to the issues on the meeting agenda.

The Coordinator of the OSCE SMM, Ambassador Ertugrul Apakan once again called for concrete steps to be taken to stabilize the situation in all three areas, and also announced that the last violation of the ceasefire at the disengagement area No. 1 “Stanitsa Luganskaya” was recorded by the Mission on May 22. Accordingly, the disengagement of forces and assets could have been carried out more than once during this time, but the Ukrainian side continues to present its own statistics, which have nothing to do with reality,” the JCCC reported.
