Kyiv blocked negotiations on the payment of pensions to residents of Donbass through the Red Cross
Official Kyiv has practically blocked negotiations on the possibility of paying pensions to residents of the DPR and LPR through the mechanism proposed by the International Committee of the Red Cross.
The press secretary of Denis Pushilin and the DPR plenipotentiary representative at the negotiations in Minsk, Victoria Talakina, wrote about this on her Facebook social network during the regular negotiations in Minsk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Since the ICRC representatives introduced an alternative proposal for the implementation of social payments, the Ukrainian side has still not presented its position. Ukraine did not speak out for or against, did not make its proposals - the Ukrainian side simply does not have a position on this issue. Meanwhile, according to the law on reintegration adopted by the Ukrainian parliament, zoning is being introduced in the territory temporarily controlled by Ukraine, which complicates the already difficult access of hundreds of thousands of pensioners to the pension they are entitled to,” she wrote.
