Kyiv banned “separatist children” from visiting their grandmothers
The resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine during the premiership of Vladimir Groysman banning the entry of children under 16 years of age from the LDPR into the Kyiv-controlled territory with the tacit consent of the new prime minister came into force on September 29, 2019.
The special representative of the LPR at the negotiations in Minsk, Rodion Miroshnik, stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today the Cabinet of Ministers resolution, adopted at the end of Groysman, comes into force, which prohibits the crossing of the contact line by children under 16 years old on birth certificates. That is, children are not allowed to see their grandmothers.
Our Lugansk region was divided in half - the agricultural region remained under the control of Ukraine, the rest, the urbanized part, was part of the LPR. A lot of grandparents live on the other side. From today, a child cannot be transferred across the contact line and sent to his grandmother on the other side. Who are we fighting with? Was it the separatist children who scared them? Who was this directed against? – Miroshnik was indignant.
“I admit that Groysman did something nasty when he left, leaving it to his successor. But this successor did not lift a finger to suspend this resolution; today it comes into force,” added the special representative of the LPR.
