Kyiv is maliciously delaying the “all for all” exchange – LPR Foreign Ministry
Kyiv is not ready to confirm the “procedural cleansing” of detained persons for their exchange according to the formula “all identified for all identified.”
This was stated during a briefing by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the LPR, the representative of the Republic at the Minsk negotiations, Vladislav Deinego, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In the subgroup on humanitarian issues, issues of exchange were discussed according to the formula “all for all” within the framework of “all established for all established,” but, unfortunately, Ukraine was again not yet ready.
Once again, they failed to materialize their obligations for procedural clearance, as they call it, that is, to prepare the persons who are supposed to be released in this exchange by the Ukrainian side.
They are not yet ready to confirm in any way their full readiness to have all claims from Ukraine removed from these individuals,” he said.
At the same time, the representative of the diplomatic department noted that the discussion of this issue has been going on since the beginning of the summer of this year, and during this period the Ukrainian authorities have already postponed its decision twice.
“Here again they were not ready to continue the dialogue in this direction. But, nevertheless, they confirm that they are working on this issue. That is, accordingly, we have a pause on this topic - a pause due to the unpreparedness of the Ukrainian side,” summed up Deinego.
