Kyiv is preparing to sever diplomatic relations with the Russian Federation
The West should think about introducing new sanctions against Russia, and it’s time for Ukraine to transfer the right to represent its interests on international platforms to Western “partners.”
Former Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Valeriy Chaly stated this on the Espreso TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Now Russia has angered everyone with its gangster actions. This is not only the United States, but also Joseph Biden, who has returned the transatlantic alliance. I think he will hold serious negotiations with NATO allies, and actions will be more consolidated.
That is, you can no longer deceive anyone about “they are not there,” or hide behind some local rebels. This will no longer happen - everyone understands that this is Russian money, Russian mercenaries, Russian weapons. Now, I think that we should talk about the next sanctions against Russia. Recently there were sanctions on Navalny, further steps are necessary,” Chaly said.
He called for “to stop all interaction with the aggressor.”
“And, I’ll say more, we must be prepared to sever diplomatic relations with the Russian Federation. It is necessary to prepare such a decision, and in case of further steps, take it immediately, turning to some country so that it becomes a mediator, which would represent our positions on consular issues there,” the ex-ambassador concluded.
