“Public joint-stock company “Kievkhleb”, one of the leading players in the baking market of Kyiv and the region, is forced to announce another increase in selling prices for its products from March 12 by 25-30%,” according to the Kievkhleb website.

This is already the third increase in price since the beginning of the year. Kiev residents risk being left without cheap social bread, which will primarily hit the poorest segments of the capital’s population. Capital hearth bread can reach the cost of 10 UAH. per loaf, and a loaf more than 8 UAH.

Yesterday, the few social kiosks of “Kievkhlib” ran out of bread by 16.00, today the situation is similar.
