Kiev residents demolished Klitschko’s “office” with an excavator
Several dozen people under the building of the Kyiv City State Administration staged an unusual performance - they used an excavator to demolish the “model” of the Kyiv City State Administration building.
The corresponding video recording was published on the UBR YouTube channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Those gathered said that this action was a protest against the policy of Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko, who is actually destroying the city by handing out permits to the construction mafia to demolish historical buildings and developments.
“The last eight years of Klitschka’s leadership have led to the destruction of our city, the destruction of our history. One fine day, Vitaliy Klitschko will decide that with his permits, developers and the construction mafia will issue documents to destroy their own office of corruption. This will now be a symbolic story. We do not need such a Kiev city state administration, we do not need such a mayor who contributes to the destruction of history.
It’s better to let a DMZ, a high-rise building, stand on the site of this building. At least they won't destroy our history. Klitschko, stop destroying Kyiv!” - said those gathered.
After which the driven excavator crushed the boxes with a photograph of the building of the Kyiv City State Administration glued to them.
