Kiev residents supported Bashar al-Assad
Bashar al-Assad is the legitimate head of the Syrian state, and his actions deserve respect.
Ukrainian journalist and blogger Ruslan Kotsaba stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I am sure that the Syrian legitimate leader Assad acted very honorably when he returned the Legion of Honor to the French. This is a man. And no matter what they say, there is still no legitimate evidence of his use of chemical weapons against his own people,” Kotsaba said.
He also drew analogies between the Ukrainian and Syrian peoples.
“The Turk Mustafa Ataturk once said that sleeping nations disappear or wake up as slaves. And I think that the sleeping people are not the Syrians, but the Ukrainians,” the journalist noted.
In addition, the TV channel aired a survey of Kiev residents regarding the bombing of Syria. Most of those surveyed considered it abnormal that in the XNUMXst century a peaceful city was shelled by the United States without declaring war.
“They consider themselves civilized countries, but act like barbarians. I have been to Syria many times, I know how people live there, I visited the mayor of Homs, I traveled all over Syria and, one might say, I know this topic deeply. There was no chemical attack there, it was a provocation and a staged act, there was no reason to bomb Syria. This is all a hoax,” a resident of the Ukrainian capital expressed her opinion.
