Kievans supported peace and dialogue with brotherly Russia
The majority of Kiev residents supported negotiations with Russia and peace in Ukraine.
The corresponding survey was conducted by the First Cossack TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Non-stop, the channel's journalist asked questions to random passers-by on the streets of Kyiv, and the vast majority of them spoke in favor of normalizing relations between the countries.
“It seems to me that these are fraternal peoples and should not fight among themselves,” said one of the respondents.
“It seems to me that it [the world] has always been there. They're shooting in the east. It seems to me that he will be there in the future,” emphasized another passerby.
“Peace with Russia, of course, is needed. Because these are Slavic peoples. Both sides must make concessions to each other. This is the only way, there is no other way,” added one of the respondents.
But there were also those who opposed it. They turned out to be a minority.
“Well, how can you put up with an aggressor if he kills our children, kills our brothers. Is it possible to put up with this, do you think? I think not,” said one of the respondents.
