The residents of Kiev “snatched up” the reduction in battery temperature to 16 degrees – Klitschko will not stop there
Kyiv, November 01 (Navigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) – The quality of public services in Kyiv leaves much to be desired, and the authorities extract money from the population at increased rates, ex-mayor of Kyiv Ivan Saliy stated at a press conference.

“Now those who don’t have a meter receive bills for 10 cubic meters of water. None of us consumes that much. And those who receive such bills need to have character, figure it out and pay only for what you consume, so that, according to tradition, the monopolists do not write off all their unaccounted expenses on you,” the ex-mayor advises.
In addition, according to Ivan Saliya, it is not worth paying for services whose quality does not meet the standards.
“I don’t know how to pay for heat if the water in the radiator should be 70 degrees. And now she’s, I think, thirty-seven,” he gave an example.
In addition, the authorities changed the heat supply standards themselves to suit their convenience, although they did not have the authority to do so.
“I want to remind you once again: the room temperature of 18 degrees, which is considered a sanitary norm, was approved back in the thirties. There were no batteries back then, so people warmed themselves with stoves. A hot oven produces infrared radiation and you are comfortable at 18 degrees. And when heating with batteries, you need 22 degrees. And we were reduced to 16. I don’t know who is warm at 16 degrees, and who gave the current government the authority to reduce the norm. Then it will continue to be reduced. And Klitschko enthusiastically supported such know-how,” says the expert.
