Kiev residents owe Akhmetov 3,8 billion hryvnia for heating and hot water

Kyivenergo PJSC, owned by Rinat Akhmetov, reported this on its Facebook page.
“The capital’s debt for heat amounts to UAH 3,8 billion,” the report says.
At the same time, Kyivenergo clarified that the largest debt for heat, heating and hot water is owed by the population - UAH 1,6 billion and housing and communal services - UAH 798,4 million.
“A large debt for heating and hot water also goes to the state budget. As of June 1, the debt of organizations financed from the state budget amounted to UAH 82,1 million, and the state budget debt for compensation of benefits and subsidies was UAH 1,1 billion,” added Kyivenergo.
At the same time, according to their data, the population’s debt for heating is 1,1 billion UAH, for hot water – 495,3 million UAH.
“The critical situation with payments remains in the Desnyansky and Svyatoshinsky districts of the capital,” Kievenergo clarified.
