The incident occurred at a public transport stop, however, it is not yet known whether this happened during a check of the man’s documents, or under other circumstances.

Due to the detonation of an explosive device, a Toyota Prius police car was damaged (the car was pierced by shrapnel and glass was also broken), a shopping kiosk and a public transport pavilion.

The police themselves, according to preliminary data, were not seriously injured.

The publication notes that at the scene of the events there was a man in handcuffs, who is probably the attacker who attacked the police.

Employees of the investigative-operational group and explosion technicians are working on the spot to determine what exactly exploded at the bus stop.
