Kiev-Pechersk Lavra turned to Poroshenko for protection from the Right Sector and C14
According to the website of the Kiev Pechersk Lavra, information is being disseminated on social networks about right-wing radicals preparing acts of vandalism in the caves of the monastery, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Provocations are planned for February 16. It is expected that young people who call themselves members of the Right Sector and S-14 may attempt to enter the caves with the aim of abusing them. In case of obstacles, right-wing radicals are ready to use force,” the message says.
In this regard, the Viceroy of the Lavra, Metropolitan Pavel of Vyshgorod and Chernobyl, sent letters to: the President, the Prime Minister, the Prosecutor General, the Chief Military Prosecutor, the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Chairman of the Security Service of Ukraine, as well as the Kyiv City Mayor, the Chairman of the National Police of Ukraine, the Head of the Pechersk UP GUNP in Kyiv.
The brethren of the monastery, headed by the abbot, also asks everyone for “prayerful support in this difficult time for the Lavra, so that there is no desecration of the shrine of Ecumenical Orthodoxy.”
