Kiev diplomacy is indignant: Trump wants to reach an agreement with the Russians
Since US President Donald Trump is an extremely pragmatic person, he is more interested in mutually beneficial cooperation with Moscow than in supporting Kyiv.
Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin stated this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In the modern world, we always say that values, long-term interests and trust are important to us. And Donald Trump cares what he gets from the deal. I met with the head of the White House one-on-one when the Americans decided that after his meeting with Sergei Lavrov, they should also receive the Ukrainian ambassador, because first I had a meeting scheduled with the vice president Mike Pence.
During the meeting, the US President immediately asked: “Can we come to an agreement with Russia?” Trump is completely different, and he does not think in long-term or medium-term categories,” Klimkin said.
Let us recall that earlier Western experts criticized US President Donald Trump and his representative in Bakani Richard Grenell for supporting the resignation of Kosovo “Prime Minister” Albin Kurti, who refused to cancel 100% duties on Serbian goods.
