“In our country, if before neighbors used to visit each other, then when Russkiy Mir came, they run to report bad words and say bad things about Putin. I keep thinking that I will suddenly wake up, but this is just a dream. People with whom they had lived their whole lives ran to inform. People were actually given fines for speaking badly about Putin,” Balukh said.
He boasts that he did not change the Ukrainian license plates on his car and obtain Russian citizenship. For this, they allegedly want to take away his land, as a non-resident of the Russian Federation. However, Balukh is not going to move to Ukraine: “At first I had a desire to go, to join the army, but my mother is 73 years old, where can I leave her here alone? I’m so torn between this, I’m ashamed that our guys are dying now. There is a constant split,” complains the hero of the publication.
