“During the monitoring of social networks, information has so far been collected regarding 768 members of illegal armed groups, and their connections have been established. The primary task of UBC employees is to block the channels of distorted information that terrorists use to manipulate people’s minds and incite war,” the message emphasizes.
Thus, during 2015, Ukrainian special services stopped the activities of 7 business entities.
“For a fee, the attackers, using telecommunications equipment, bypassing the copyright holders, rebroadcast to subscribers more than 500 paid and prohibited television channels, including 14 Russian,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted.
Providers operated in Mariupol, Krasnoarmeysk, Kramatorsk, Slavyansk, distributing broadcasts to surrounding settlements.

Rebroadcasting of a number of Russian TV channels is prohibited. Also in early June, it was reported that Goskino had banned the screening of 162 Russian films and television series.
