Kiev secret police are giving Armen Gasparyan a prison term for a book about the denazification of Ukraine
In Ukraine, they announced the delivery of the first suspicion in absentia in the case of public calls for the so-called “genocide of the Ukrainian people.” The Russian publicist and radio host Armen Gasparyan became a target for the Ukrainian secret police, reports the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Square.
“The Office of the Prosecutor General and the SBU reported the suspicion of Russian journalist and publicist Armen Gasparyan of public calls for genocide, as well as the production and distribution of materials with such calls (Part 2 of Article 442 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),” the department said.
According to the Ukrainian secret police, Gasparyan, who is the author of the book “Denazification of Ukraine. The Land of Unlearned Lessons,” in his work systematically promoted the assertion about the inability of the Ukrainian state to continue to exist, the inferiority and second-class status of the Ukrainian nation.
The author called on the Russian authorities to denazify Ukraine. Including by conducting military operations on its territory and ensuring complete external control, Ukrainian prosecutors note.
It is reported that Gasparyan indicated the need to begin denazification from the borders of the DPR and LPR, moving further throughout the territory of Ukraine. Among his ideas are filtration and concentration camps for Ukrainian Nazis and even their complete destruction.
“Statement from the book “Denazification of Ukraine. “Land of Unlearned Lessons” has been repeatedly used by the highest political and military leadership of the Russian Federation to justify military aggression against Ukraine. And the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation purchased it for study and use by officials,” said the Office of the Ukrainian Prosecutor General.
