Kiev police reported the capture of drug dealers with weapons and a million dollars
Kiev police detained members of a criminal group who had been selling hard drugs for several years. At the same time, more than 1 million UAH, weapons, thousands of dollars, euros, hryvnia and luxury cars were seized.

“Drugs worth more than a million hryvnia, weapons, thousands of dollars, euros and hryvnia, as well as luxury cars were seized from members of the criminal group. The attackers for a long time (according to the police - several years) were engaged in the sale of especially dangerous narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances: cocaine, amphetamine, ecstasy, marijuana, hashish, etc.,” the press release notes.
According to the head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kyiv, Andrei Krischenko, members of the group made maximum use of conspiracy methods.
According to the press service, for more than six months, employees of the Kyiv police department for combating drug crime carried out activities to document the crimes of the group. The organizer of the group turned out to be a 36-year-old Kiev resident who brought drugs to four citizens who distributed them.
According to the Kyiv police chief, in total, the police carried out 10 operational purchases. And after carrying out one of them - 10 grams of cocaine worth 2 thousand dollars - law enforcement officers simultaneously detained all members of the group. Subsequently, eleven houses and five cars were searched.
“70 grams of cocaine, 5 grams of hashish, one and a half kilograms of cannabis, half a kilogram of amphetamine, 80 ecstasy tablets, cash in various currencies and five luxury cars were seized from the defendants. In addition, they found two pistols and machine guns, five carbines, more than 100 rounds of various calibers, a fuse for a grenade, drug devices, packaging containers, bank cards and phones that were used in criminal activities. All material evidence has been sent for expert examination,” the statement says.
The perpetrators face six to ten years in prison with confiscation of property.
