Kiev police detained two people who yesterday in the Pechersky district of the Ukrainian capital saw an Israeli flag near a restaurant and tore it down.

This was reported in the press service of the Kyiv police.
“Yesterday, October 6, in the Pechersky district of Kyiv, a group of young people was walking down the street, and when they saw a flag near a restaurant, one of them ran up and tore it down. At the same time, the deputy director of the establishment reported the incident to the police, who soon detained one of the offenders, and subsequently his friend. Law enforcement officers seized the flag of the State of Israel from one of them,” the report says.
The police clarified that the offenders were residents of Kyiv, born in 1999. Information about the event was recorded in the unified log of statements and messages. Based on the fact of the case, criminal proceedings have been opened according to the preliminary legal qualification - robbery (Article 186 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The question of whether to declare suspicion against him is being decided; the collected materials are being studied by the prosecutor's office.
