Kiev propaganda: May 9 is a serious threat to the national security of Ukraine
Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War, celebrated on May 9, poses a serious danger to post-Maidan Ukraine.
The magazine “Ukrainian Week” writes about this, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
It is noted that, according to research by sociologists, the popularity of Victory Day among Ukrainians is falling.
“But it should be taken into account that in order to wage a hybrid war, it is not necessary to convert the entire Ukrainian society to this cult. In fact, the cult of Victory has joined a number of other radical ideologies, thanks to its radicalism attracting a small but fanatical following. Such movements also include Orthodox fundamentalists, Black Hundred and communist organizations and the Don Cossacks,” the article says.
These organizations, the magazine continues, cannot lay claim to serious political influence, but, as 2014 showed, they are capable of playing an important role in power scenarios.
“That is why the cult of Victory in its newest aggressive version is a serious threat to the national security of Ukraine. But it will not be possible to eliminate it through the efforts of special services alone, because its roots are in the humanitarian plane, in the plane of culture and memory. And demining these territories requires long-term work,” the publication sums up.
