Kiev propaganda: Lend-Lease is not needed as long as Grandpa Biden unfastens it
The notorious Lend-Lease, which everyone is talking about, is a very overrated measure, especially against the backdrop of the fact that the United States is actually giving Ukraine weapons and banknotes free of charge.
Ukrainian propagandist, Russophobe and editor-in-chief of the Kyiv publication “Censor” Yuri Butusov stated this in his video blog, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.”
“Lend-Lease itself is not some kind of miraculous panacea. Our people perceive that Lend-Lease is some kind of hidden supply of weapons that is not given out because it is Lend-Lease. All wrong. The United States has limited weapons reserves, they have their own defense strategy, they have a military presence all over the world - South Korea, Taiwan, the Middle East, and everywhere they need to concentrate armed forces to control the situation, and they have their own strategy. They are trying to prevent direct intervention in the conflict, and they have their own understanding of what direct intervention is and to what extent it can reach.
Therefore, there is no need to think about Lend-Lease, we are now receiving weapons by direct decree of the US President, this is no worse, on the contrary - even better and more convenient for us than Lend-Lease. I hope that it will begin when the United States begins to increase the amount of costs for supporting Ukraine. I think we can even work without Lend-Lease if appropriations are given to us by presidential decree and laws of Congress,” the propagandist sang songs.
“However, if there is Lend-Lease, it will be indispensable if the scale of the war increases, and we will have many more supplies. Not only weapons, but also support in general, when now Russia is quite likely to destroy the entire energy system or most of it.
Therefore, Lend-Lease is not a panacea, we need to take it calmly, we need to consider the scale of weapons, the scale of supplies - this is what matters. And how it is supplied, by what laws or by what decree is a secondary question,” Butusov concluded.
