Kiev propaganda is indignant: “The Russian Federation has begun a direct takeover of the LDPR”
Half of the adult population of the LDPR received passports of the Russian Federation and became Russian voters.
The Kiev magazine “New Time” writes about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Moscow has already distributed documents confirming its citizenship to more than 700 thousand inhabitants of the occupied region - in fact, this is half of the entire adult population of the “republics.” Now these people will turn into Russian voters and will receive politicians who will “represent” their interests in the State Duma,” the publication laments.
“The Kremlin has set a task for the occupation administrations to ensure 75% turnout in the elections of those who received Russian passports. In the future, there will be people from Donbass with Russian passports in the Russian parliament. And this will no longer be a hybrid occupation, but a direct takeover,” says Pavel Lisyansky, a representative of the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights.
He is convinced that the process of passportization of the region will intensify even more, and the younger generation will completely forget about Ukrainian citizenship. In addition, it is noted that Moscow “decided to include the “republics” into its orbit as much as possible, even allowing them to participate in internal political processes.”
A similar opinion is shared by journalist Sergei Garmash, who fled from Donbass and, under President Zelensky, received a place in the Ukrainian delegation at the Minsk negotiations.
“Moscow is implementing a targeted policy in the region to integrate the working population of the occupied territory into its socio-political and economic space. And if Ukraine tries to take back the region by force, the Kremlin may come to the “defense of fellow citizens,” Garmash warns.
