The Kyiv authorities think in terms of the late Middle Ages
The new government of Ukraine, like its predecessors, is trying to present itself to the West as a kind of vanguard at the forefront of the geopolitical struggle against the “eastern barbarians.”
Political scientist Semyon Uralov stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What actually happened to Zelensky? At first he absorbed Poroshenko’s anti-rating, people who were fed up with everything, but after poking and poking around, he realized that there was only one self-organized minority - these were those same scumbag radicals, also armed. And he had no other chance left, since he did not propose his own historical and ideological discourse on how to drift in this direction.
And this historical discourse also has what Prystaiko is talking about, a foreign policy framework. They are trying to present themselves at the forefront of the geopolitical struggle against the “eastern barbarians”: we are fighting for you, for NATO on the flank, but you often don’t even understand this.
And they thus sell the lives of their citizens in the name of this great war in the East with the “eastern barbarians,” and thus provide themselves, as they believe, with a ticket to the world elite,” the expert said.
“I don’t understand very well how wars are fought, but I could never understand why attack Europe through Ukraine? When we needed to carry out a military operation in Syria, we somehow managed not to offend the interests of any neighboring countries. Or does Prystaiko still think in terms of the XNUMXth century?” – asked TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov.
“Well, somewhere in the XNUMXth century,” Semyon Uralov stood up for the “non-brothers.”
