Kiev authorities consider Privatbank more important than Donbass
The Kyiv authorities are much more concerned about the possible cancellation of the nationalization of Privatbank, on the occasion of which the National Security and Defense Council was even convened, and the burning issue of Russia’s “annexation” of Donbass practically did not excite the current regime.
The editor-in-chief of the Ukrainian portal OstroV, Sergei Garmash, stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Strangely enough, even the Ukrainian Security Council has not met on this matter. When the judge made a decision on the illegal nationalization of Privatbank, and not a final decision, the president immediately spoke to us, and our Security Council was immediately convened. But the attempt, in fact, to annex Donbass now, de facto, because Russian citizens will be there, for some reason this did not particularly excite our authorities.
“The [UN] Security Council will meet, talk, express another concern, as usual, as we have been hearing this for 5 years now and nothing will happen, Putin will do the same thing he does, if Ukraine does not show its readiness for decisive action,” – Garmash laments.
