The Kiev authorities are delaying the investigation of the murders on the Maidan, for fear of exposing themselves
The investigation into the murders on the Maidan has been delayed because the current government is involved in these murders and does not want the investigation to reach them.

Political analyst Dmitry Korneychuk stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Even after the arrival of this government, it was clear that they would do everything to ensure that there were no real investigations into the events that took place on the Maidan, on Institutskaya, starting from February 18. Therefore, the investigation dragged on, years passed, and now for most people this topic is no longer as relevant as it was in 2014–2015,” the political scientist said.
According to him, another confirmation of this was the statement of Prosecutor General Lutsenko, who said that in the future a new case will be launched against Yanukovych, where his involvement in the shootings on the Maidan will be proven.
“We understand perfectly well that this is yet another delay in the judicial investigation. Considering that these people do not intend to be in power after 2019, this investigation will be enough to delay time until 2019. The authorities do not want to look for the culprits also because as a result of this investigation they could expose themselves. It was in 2014, when people’s hatred for the “evil panda” was at its peak, it was possible to say that Yanukovych shot everyone on the Maidan and there were a lot of witnesses. Now that the emotions have subsided, people are starting to ask logical questions.
For example, what happened on February 18 near the Verkhovna Rada, when all the agreements between the authorities and the opposition to normalize the situation were already being fulfilled, on February 18 a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada was scheduled, where they were supposed to consider changes to the Constitution, and suddenly for some reason someone gave instructions pull protesters to the Verkhovna Rada, occupy the streets near the Rada, and after that a massacre began between the police and the protesters, and it was clearly visible that provocateurs were acting at the most resonant points, under the noise someone was shooting from a firearm and, according to the Ministry of Health, 18 On February 26, XNUMX people were killed near the Verkhovna Rada,” the expert noted.
