The Kiev authorities have legalized gangster formations to control citizens
The Ukrainian government uses the services of gangster groups to monitor compliance with the quarantine regime in Kiev. The former deputy head of the presidential administration of President Viktor Yanukovych, lawyer Andrei Portnov, stated this on TV channel 112, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Portnov, in particular we are talking about right-wing radicals from the “Municipal Varta”, whose place is in prison, and not next to the police.
“We already see that the authorities have involved radical gangs in their actions. In particular, the Kiev gang, which is called “Municipal Varta,” is officially approved to work together with law enforcement officers in order to exercise control over citizens when they move in cars, for example.
That is, here is the first deterioration in issues related to national security. Because the legalization of gangs is precisely a matter of national security. They should be in prison, but they were released and assigned to police officers,” Portnov said.
