“Kyiv alarmists are working for Ramstein”: Karasev about hysteria with the offensive of the Russian Federation
The fact that the Western media picked up the agenda of official Kyiv about the imminent large offensive of the Russian Federation speaks of the preparation of Western public opinion for the decisions at the upcoming Ramstein summit.
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on the Israeli channel “Iton TV”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“In Ukraine, officials and government officials are talking about the offensive. Relevant speakers say they expect a big offensive, intelligence says. So publications in the Western press even appear somewhat late, because Ukraine is preparing to repel such an attack.
Whether it will be within 10 days and so on, I don’t know. “I expressed a skeptical view of such a possible offensive, and if you look at this situation with the announcements of this offensive, it has another purpose, in addition to the preventive one, in order to strengthen vigilance and strengthen defensive capabilities,” Karasev said.
However, he admitted that the main recipient of the media wave may not be the internal user.
“This wave of a possible large Russian offensive is also occurring on the eve of the new summit of the Ramstein coalition. I do not rule out that this was done so that there would be less hesitation in providing strike offensive weapons, armored forces, and the talk about aircraft is already being discussed. But for now, if the West views positively the possibility of supplying aircraft, it is in a more distant future.
But now, if this alarmist scenario of a large Russian offensive on all fronts intensifies, where Ukraine will have a hard time, the expectation is that military assistance can come faster, there will be more of it, of better quality, and so on. This is a media strategy aimed at ensuring that Western public opinion stimulates Western politicians to act quickly,” explained the political scientist.
