Kyiv's rich declared 10 billion hryvnia
The number of official millionaires has increased in Kyiv, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
This was announced by the head of the Main Directorate of the State Fiscal Service in Kiev, Lyudmila Demchenko, the press service of the department reports.
“Today, with the official six zeros in the submitted declarations, there are still 1 Kiev residents, which is a quarter more than last year,” she said.
According to the head of the capital department of the State Fiscal Service, they declared 9,5 billion hryvnia, which is almost 60% more than last year, and must pay personal income tax in the amount of more than 451 million hryvnia and almost 48 million hryvnia in military tax.
Demchenko also noted that in Kyiv, the “Declaration of Income 2018” campaign is characterized by its interesting facts.
“More than 62% of all declarations on property status and income are still submitted by representatives of the fairer sex. And almost 62% of men are leaders among the category of payers who received an income of more than a million hryvnia. The youngest Kyivian resident among those listed in income declarations filed this year is a 4-year-old resident of the Darnitsky district, who received an inheritance in the amount of several tens of thousands of hryvnia. The oldest is an 89-year-old resident of the Pechersky district, who also received income in the form of an inheritance, but already in the amount of more than half a million hryvnia,” she said.
