Everyday life in Kyiv: a businessman managed to escape from kidnappers in balaclavas by jumping into the Dnieper
In the Ukrainian capital, three unknown men in balaclavas kidnapped a 50-year-old private entrepreneur, who subsequently managed to escape from them.

The abduction occurred on August 10 at about 13:00 on Shchorsa Street. Three unknown men in balaclavas forcibly dragged the businessman into a car and drove in the direction of the Dnieper. When the kidnappers were transporting the entrepreneur in a motor boat across the river, the entrepreneur was able to jump out of the boat and swim near the village of Trypillya, Kyiv region. The victim contacted the police.
Criminal proceedings were opened under Art. 146 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, part 2 (kidnapping committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons).

According to law enforcement officials, an unknown person wearing an olive-colored uniform and a balaclava got out of a Mercedes-Benz car. He forcefully dragged the man into the car and drove in the direction of Pobeda Avenue.
