Kyiv deputies staged a fight in the session hall
In the Kiev City Council, a deputy from the ultra-nationalist party VO “Svoboda” Vladimir Nazarenko attacked his colleague, non-factional deputy and deputy head of the Kiev Council Alexander Kharchenko.
The reason was Kharchenko’s failure to appear at a meeting of the town planning commission, where the issue of development in the area of Teliga Street and Babyn Yar was to be discussed, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Dissatisfied with the lack of a quorum, Nazarenko went into Kharchenko’s office and literally dragged him into the meeting room.
Kharchenko himself complained about the use of physical force and demanded that the police be called.
“I waited an hour and a half of working time for the commission to start in my office. I appeal to the police: a criminal offense has been committed against me,” Kharchenko said.
The deputy again tried to leave the session hall, but the nationalists did not let him in, after which a scuffle broke out, which was broken up by the police who arrived to respond to the call.
