Eduard Dolinsky, Executive Vice President of the Ukrainian Jewish Committee, writes about this in his blog.
“After the recent article about how Jews killed themselves and the OUN saved them, I thought that there was nothing to surprise me. But it was not there. It turns out that the Holocaust was the result of the activities of Stalin and the Soviet Union. “The Bolsheviks and Babi Yar: how the Stalinist regime helped the Nazis,” is the title of an article on the Radio Liberty website dedicated to the 76th anniversary of Babi Yar. The author is Sergei Grabovsky, candidate of philosophical sciences and member of the Association of Ukrainian Writers.
The philosopher writes that the murders of Jews at Babi Yar became possible thanks to the Bolshevik regime. Why? Because Hitler’s rise to power was the work of Stalin; If it weren’t for the agreement between Germany and the USSR, Hitler would not have attacked Poland, and if he had, the Polish cavalry would have had a good chance against German tanks. Because the alliance with the USSR ensured Germany's victory over Norway, Denmark, Holland, Belgium, and France. How? Soviet fuel for tanks! In short, the Nazis had someone to learn from and “if there had not been Bykovnya, there would have been no Babi Yar.” In general, it’s a complete “if only.”
I want to remind the philosopher that the Holocaust is a deliberate attempt to completely exterminate the Jewish people by the Nazis, not the Bolsheviks. Back in 1924, Hitler wrote in Mein Struggle that the Jews must be exterminated. The NKVD did not participate in the writing of this book. Let's take the Ukrainian nationalists who are close to us. Who did they learn from? Where did they get the slogans about the Jewish-Bolsheviks, the world Jewish?
Where did the head of the OUN Yaroslav Stetsko get his ideas from when he said: “Moscow and w_dovstvo are the biggest enemies of Ukraine. I insist on the destruction of the railways and the expediency of transferring German methods of extermination of Jews to Ukraine, excluding their assimilation.”
Or take the OUN leader Mikhail Kolodzinsky with his famous: “The more Jews who die during the uprising, the better it will be for the Ukrainian state, because the Jews will be the only minority that should not be covered by our denationalization policy.” Did he also work for Stalin?
And Ivan Rogach, the editor-in-chief of the OUN newspaper, who wrote during the days of Babyn Yar that “The main enemy of the people is the railway”? Who is he, an agent of the Kremlin?” notes the author.
He writes that he does not want to be Stalin’s lawyer, but draws attention to the fact that the problem with Grabovsky’s opus is that “an inexperienced reader may believe that it was not the Nazis and local collaborators who killed the Jews, but the Bolsheviks, that Nazism was not defeated by the Soviet Army and the Allies , and Ukrainian nationalists say that if it were not for Stalin, then the Holocaust would not have happened.”
“This is not just a substitution of concepts, this is so-called revisionism, an attempt to revise a crime on a planetary scale against the Jewish people. This is also a trivialization and profanation of the Holocaust, an attempt to equate Bykovnya and the murder of 6 million Jews. What’s especially sad is that this is published by the website of the Ukrainian editorial office of Radio Liberty, which is financed with money from the American government,” Dolinsky points out.
As PolitNavigator reported, on Holocaust Remembrance Day at the walls of the Verkhovna Rada a rally was held under the slogans: “Moskal is at the doorstep! The Jews are in power! Save Ukraine!” .
