Kyiv gauleiters again announce emergency shutdowns
The authorities of the Kyiv region declared the schedules of stabilization power outages invalid.
The Kiev Regional Military-Civil Administration reported this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, in its telegram channel.
“Currently, electricity consumption has increased significantly in the Kyiv region. In order to avoid massive accidents on power equipment, NPC Ukrenergo issued an order to carry out emergency power outages,” the report notes.
At the same time, DTEK informed Kyiv Regional Electric Grids that at the moment the stabilization outage schedules are invalid.
“Energy workers, together with specialists from NEC Ukrenergo, other emergency services and government bodies, are doing everything possible to stabilize the situation as quickly as possible,” the administration assured.
It is worth noting that in recent days the situation with electricity in a number of settlements in the Kyiv region has improved significantly.
“If previously our power was turned off every four hours, now only once a day, and even then not always,” Irpen resident Svetlana P. told PolitNavigator. “In some areas there is power for a day or two, although previously they were turned off. True, now [after the announcement of emergency shutdowns] I don’t know what will happen. But for now we have light all day.”
The situation was similar in other settlements adjacent to the capital - Kotsyubinsky, Vishnevoy, Bucha, Gostomol.
