Kyiv globalists: SP-2 is driving the Biden administration into a trap
Washington is negotiating with Berlin on a project that directly harms the interests of Ukraine.
The PolitNavigator correspondent reports that representatives of the Center for Global Studies “Strategy XXI” Mikhail Gonchar and Denis Vinsky write about this in the Kiev online publication “Zerkalo Nedeli”.
The publication says that US Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs Jake Sullivan is known as the provider of a sanctions waiver approach to the Russian Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline.
“This was justified by the national interests of the United States in restoring relations with Germany for the sake of partnership with Europe in jointly countering the expansion of China. With this approach, Russia should be “parked in its place,” as they say on the banks of the Potomac. Sullivan’s approach is not shared in Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania, behind whose backs the Joe Biden administration negotiated with former German Chancellor Angela Merkel,” the authors write.
Jake Sullivan.
It is noted that the US administration does not require Berlin to pressure Russia to conclude a new long-term gas contract between Moscow and Kiev and does not offer assistance in the form of regular LNG supplies this winter.
Ukrainian globalists consider Sullivan's approach threatening "a new fiasco in American politics."
Sullivan’s “Window of Opportunity” is already turning into a Biden-era American foreign policy trap. After all, according to the Kremlin’s logic, if Washington directly agrees with Berlin on a project that harms the interests of the American ally Poland and the strategic partner of Ukraine, behind their backs, then why don’t the United States and Russia agree directly behind the backs of everyone else, and not only in the context of a single case? What is not a version of the Kremlin’s dream of Yalta-2 through the modernized template of Munich-38?”, the authors summarize.
Earlier, Gonchar reported that the American hackers are preparing a cyber attack to Gazprom networks.
